Elements was established in 2006 as an extended wing of MAS Architects and Interior Designers, established in 1978 which was involved in projects all over India and international projects too.
Elements is a leading architecture and design practice providing a comprehensive range of design services. We are committed to our core values of design excellence, functional designs, clean aesthetics, practical detailing and sustainability.

Our work experience allows us to apply international expertise with local knowledge while delivering projects that are site sensitive and to local culture and image.
Elements is consistently strengthening and expanding its range of expertise across multiple sectors. Our practice is currently a leading provider of architectural services for mixed use, residential, commercial, retail and education facilities.
Meeran Abdus Samad, Principal Architect in Elements, graduated in Architecture from Anna University, Chennai in 1974. On completion he went overseas in 1976 to Dubai and Saudi Arabia to work with International firms.
He founded MAS Architects and Interior Designers in 1978 working on several International projects and projects across India. His tenure overseas was till 2002 during which he was involved in major projects with firms such as Pacific Consultants International Dubai, Turner International USA, Kenzo Tange Associates Bahrain, ETA Dubai, D P Architects Singapore to name a few. He returned to India in 2002 to set base in Chennai and continue work on projects under the established MAS.
In 2006, with a new structuring, Elements was evolved from MAS.
He is a visiting juror and Design chair in Mohammed Sathak College of Architecture, Chennai and actively contributes to various colleges in Chennai for their graduate and post graduate architecture programs.
Academic Involvements include

Sulthan Ibraheem, Partner at Elements, graduated in architecture from Madras University in 2000.
Post graduation he worked in MAS as a Junior Architect. He also worked for a brief stint at Chitale & son Architects, Chennai.
His vital contribution in building the firm is through his expertise in design development, coordination with specialty consultant’s contractors and final implementation of the project.
